From Classrooms to Coastlines: How CASCO Travel Was Born

At the heart of CASCO Travel is a friendship—and a shared belief that the world is full of wonder, if you’re willing to step into it.

Long before passports and packing lists became part of our work, we (Jenna and Maria) were side by side in schools, dreaming up ways to make learning more meaningful for kids and more connected for families. We’ve built classrooms, launched microschools, and built a thriving community at CASCO Learning—but one thing has always stayed constant: our deep love for travel.

For both of us, travel has been the thread that ties together curiosity, courage, and connection. It’s the thing that reminds us who we are outside of our daily routines. We’ve wandered through temples in Guatemala, soaked in Icelandic lagoons, and hiked along misty cliffs—always returning home with something more than souvenirs.

And somewhere along the way, we realized we wanted to share that magic—not just with students and families, but with women, friends, couples, and solo travelers who crave something deeper.

We created CASCO Travel because we believe travel can be grounding and expansive at the same time. We wanted a place where people could explore not only new destinations—but new parts of themselves.

This isn’t about doing it all or seeing it all. It’s about slowing down, experiencing real moments, and being in community with others who are just as curious and open-hearted.
